Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How long will it take to get my order?

Shipping times vary depending on workload and product. Most ship times are listed on product pages however they are subject to change and we try to update main product pages with current ship times listed at the top of the page.

Please note that Ritzy Baby orders are custom sewn upon order. We do take approx. 1-2 weeks to ship
our basic infant car seat covers. It is very important that you understand we cannot rush ship unless you
make arrangements PRIOR to placing your order. We are a small family owned business and we will
always do everything we can in order to get you your product for your special event.

If we have it in stock and you want it then we are going to ship it out within 24 hours. Every once in a while we may run out of an item and not have time to update the website. If that happens you will be notified of an approximate ship time for your item via email. If you requested Express shipping then we will contact you via phone to let you know if an item is out of stock so that you will know in case it is a gift. We will do everything we can to get your item to you in a timely manner. We try to honor any requests that are made.

Q. How do I care for my Ritzy Baby product?

Most products sold at Ritzy Baby are washer and dryer friendly, however, some items may need special care. Because we are doing our part to be eco-friendly, we do not offer paper care instructions unless directly requested by you. We prefer to email them to you! Please let us know if you need specific instructions for a certain product. You will find care tags sewn on all products to refer to as well.

Q. What shipping method is used and can I track my package?

Each item is shipped with different carriers, but rest assured we always have a tracking number on hand to ensure a complete and speedy delivery. If you would like a tracking number for your order and did not receive it via email simply drop us an email or specify in your order. If you placed your order through the Ritzy Baby website then you will receive an approximate ship time once your order is received by us. Then, once we ship your order you will receive a tracking number as well.

Q. What credit cards and payment types do you accept?

Ritzy Baby accepts the following cards for payment: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
You can also check out using your PayPal account.
You can safely enter your credit card number via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information. If you prefer to call us to place your order then we will be more than happy to take your order via phone. Please contact us anytime at 1-877-893-0313. If it is after our normal business hours then we will kindly return your call as soon as possible. Normal business hours are M-F 10am - 5pm, CST.

Q. Do you accept returns?

Most Ritzy Baby products are custom made-to-order. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns on these items. If you would like to cancel a made-to-order item, you must do so within 2 days of placing the order.

Q. What is the difference between your slipcovers and your custom replacement covers for Infant and Toddler styles?

Please note that we offer slipcover style options as well as replacement cover options for infant seats and toddler seats. Please do not get these two items confused. Custom Replacement covers are more expensive than slipcovers, but they are designed to fit your EXACT car seat model. Slipcovers are designed to accommodate all infant seats so sometimes these may appear baggy on smaller car seats. Slipcovers are a "fit all" solution and they are not always perfect on every car seat cover. We have sold slipcovers for many years and they do fit many customer's car seats as well as their budgets. However, if you are looking for a perfect fit like the manufacturer's, then we strongly suggest you order a replacement cover.  My slipcovers are also designed with beautifully binded slits that allow easy access to the safety straps. This keeps you from having to rethread things every time you remove the cover to wash or clean, and that is a great safety pre-caution. Since I do use slits sometimes you can see the existing car seat underneath. Now most of the time the baby is in the seat so it truly isn't that big of a deal, but if it is to you then please consider a fully custom replacement car seat cover. We want you to be 100% satisfied and not have to wait longer for an exchange and so on.

Q. What if I have an infant seat such as a Peg Perego Sip 30/30 or a Peg Perego 4/35 model that has an infant head support in the center? Can I place your cover over the top of the SIP? Do you offer covers for this model?

Ritzy Baby has been doing what we call modifications to our slipcovers for several years now. A modification is solely for the purpose of accomodating seats such as the Britax Chaperone, Peg Perego and those infant seats that have a built in head rest. Our covers were not meant to be stretched over the top of this headrest, as we do not consider this safe at all.

Many people will splurge for a custom replacement seat cover if they have a seat that has this SIP (side impact protection) head rest, but we wanted to offer a slipcover with a modification at a lower price to cater to all of our Ritzy customers. Therefore, the modification was born. So, you can purchase any of the slipcovers you see, but you will want to select your model and choose a modification for your model. The cost is simply 43.00 to modify and this allows us a little extra time (usually a few extra days is all we need) and we will create a nice head rest cover to go with your slipcover as well as adjust the slipcover to nicely slip over your head rest. This still allows you to have all of the benefits of a slipcover. Easy On, and Easy Off for those little emergencies while traveling! So, rest assured that Ritzy Baby has got you covered! You can purchase a slipcover modification for your car seat or you can purchase a custom replacement car seat cover.
Please note that we cut the modifications specifically for your car seat so we do not offer returns as they are considered partially custom, only exchanges in our store.

Q. What if I have a Britax Boulevard, Advocate, Pavilion, Marathon car seat that has the inner head support, will your standard toddler covers fit my toddler car seat?

Q. Do you offer a layaway program?

Yes, at Ritzy Baby we are very flexible and we know that sometimes our custom sewn items do not always fit into the budget easily. If that is the case then please reach out to us. We require that you put down 40% of your order so that we can get your order started and begin to make progress, but then we are happy to work with you establishing a payment option that works best for you. 

Please just contact us at sales@ritzybaby.com to let us know the dates that work for you. Layaways are offered on purchases of $500.00 and up. Once a deposit is made we will not offer a refund if you change your mind. Many times fabrics are purchased and cut for your custom order so refunds are just not possible at this point. Most of the time we use Paypal money request for our Layaway program. We will send you an invoice for your first payment and then subsequent payments will follow.
